Baby Burp Cloths

Baby Burp Cloths – great present! I came across instructions on how to make baby burp cloths using terry toweling for the back.  What a great way to use up material that’s screaming out to be used but you just don’t have enough to make a quilt, or you bought too much and there’s heaps left over!  Until I found the idea of burp cloths at ‘how does she’ I was going to cut them up into smallish squares to make a cot quilt. Extra embellishment on baby burp cloths I wondered about having the 2 fabrics only connected at the side seams and whether this would cause problems in the wash etc.  So I decided to add a bit of hand sewing to hold the 2 layers down together.  Will this work, well not sure, but hopefully the recipient of this pack may leave a comment? The other thing I changed is that I decided to use bamboo fabric.  I’d found a site in Australia that sold all sorts of bamboo fabrics and they also sold off-cuts.  I decided to buy their largest off-cuts in two types of bamboo.  But I have to say the bamboo fleece feels the nicest and softest, I just loved it and had to order a few more yards. Here is the present – lots of baby burp cloths, all ready to go! Hope you’ve enjoyed this post on baby burp...
